I have seen bad hires actually kill an early-stage company and
this mistake is always a VERY expensive one I have hired many
hundreds of people in my career and even hired 150 people over about a 6
month period once. After 15 years I have developed a system that I think
insures about a 95% success rate, when the average failure rate of hires
is more than 50%. Some of your hiring success rate is using a set of
simple systems for the hiring process, some is philosophy and some is
knowing the right questions to ask people to match them to the need. The

As an early-stage or startup company
